Scouts

Between 1994 and 1996 I worked on a project photographing a Boy Scout Troop in Santa Fe Springs CA—about a half an hour South East of Los Angeles proper. Like the Second Grade project, there were hoops to jump through to get permission, but having made Eagle Scout at the age of 15 went a long way and I was granted access by the council then the parents. I became an Assistant Scout Master for Troop 328 and regularly attended meetings and camping and hiking trips with the boys.
