In the mid-eighties I spent countless winter days in the freshwater and tidal marshes along the Delaware Bay photographing muskrat trappers. Muskrat population control is integral to marsh conservation along the Atlantic Flyway, and trapping provides seasonal income to parts of the rural population whose employment comes mainly from farming and construction.
